Things to do before calling your technician
1) Updates are the most neglected and the most needed user action to take
before calling your technician. First go to Microsoft's update page :
Microsoft Windows
Update
Do the automatic scan then do ALL of the updates. This can take some time and
may require numerous reboots.
2)After all of operating system updates have been completed, now
its time for the manufacturer's updates. Everybody who manufactures computers
has an update page. I'll try to list some of them for you.

Do the same thing as the Microsoft Updates until all have been completed.
Lot's of problems experienced by computer users can be fixed as easily as
just doing your updates. My staff can do your updates at $35 an hour or you can
save yourself lots of cash and maybe fix that specific problem.
Component Level problems can be fixed much the same way and I'll include a
web page on how to do that soon.
What is a Bio's and how do I flash it?
This is a common question. Your computers BIOS resides on a chip on your
mother board controlling the POST (Pre Operating System Test) which checks
memory, Keyboard, Mouse configuration, etc.
To flash it you first have to down load the Flash software which will want to
write to your A Disk. Once the data has been written to that disk just shut down
the computer and reboot with the Disk you just made.
WARNING! Make absolute sure to get the exact BIOS for your specific system.
Screwing this up most likely will result in system boot up failure.
